Biography<\/span><\/strong>
Beatrice Leung is a Product Manager at RADAR, building ION \u2014 the homepage of the Lightning Network. Beatrice was introduced to Bitcoin in 2015 while leading growth marketing at a Virtual Reality company and has been following the space since. She is passionate about frontier technologies and turning complex subjects into easily digestible pieces. Beatrice graduated from the University of Utah in Chemistry and Marketing, and a UCLA med school drop out. She speaks five languages but refuses to say the word BUIDL. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course Description<\/span><\/strong>
This session will include a short overview of the Lightning Network then move into a hands-on segment wherein scholars will learn to setup their own Lightning Network node, open a channel and send funds. All of these tasks will be accomplished on a testnet \u2014 no real funds required!
