CryptoCurrency Security Standard Auditor Workshop

What is the CCSSA and why is it valuable?

Currently there are very few ways to corroborate an individual’s blockchain and cryptocurrency proficiencies, especially in the area of security. That’s why C4, the world’s leading blockchain and cryptocurrency certification organization, has created the CryptoCurrency Security Standard Auditor (CCSSA) designation.

The CCSSA designation identifies individuals who possess the knowledge, expertise and capability to assess private key operations (creation, storage, signing, etc.) against the 10 domains of the CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS). The 10 CCSS domains cover a list of security aspects of an information system which stores, transact with, or accepts cryptocurrencies. Building systems that comply with the CCSS is vital for cryptocurrency ventures to be secure. Until the CCSSA designation, companies simply self-identified their level of compliance with the standards. Now, CCSS Auditors (CCSSA’s) will be able to independently verify any organization’s compliance with the standards and help them identify areas for improvement. Earning your CCSSA designation can help you:

  • Authenticate your blockchain and cryptocurrency security knowledge

  • Make you more competitive for jobs in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industries as a certified Auditor

  • Potentially earn more money as a certified Auditor

  • Start your own consulting business as a certified Auditor

  • Network with other CCSSAs to continue your personal and professional growth
