What is the CCSSA and why is it valuable?

The CCSSA designation identifies individuals who possess the knowledge, expertise and capability to assess private key operations (creation, storage, signing, etc.) against the 10 domains of the CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS). The 10 CCSS domains cover a list of security aspects of an information system which stores, transact with, or accepts cryptocurrencies. Until the CCSSA designation, companies simply self-identified their level of compliance with the standards. Do You Want To Become a CryptoCurrency Security Standard Auditor?
The CryptoCurrency Security Standard Auditor (CCSSA) exam does just that! Introduced in 2019, the CCSSA exam certifies one’s knowledge of the CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS) – a security standard that helps secure all information systems that make use of cryptocurrencies.
This six hour workshop will focus on the intricacies of the CCSS framework, the structure of the CCSSA exam, and provide fun, group-based learning activites. By the end of the workshop, attendees will be well-prepared to take the examination. This workshop is not included in a scholar BTC2019 ticket. In order to attend you must purchase an add-on in addition to the scholar ticket, however the cost of the CCSSA examination is included in the price of the workshop. Seats are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Prerequisite knowledge: In order to qualify for this workshop, you must either have a current certification (e.g. CBP, CISA, CISSP) or have knowledge of or practical experience in auditing and security systems.
